Privacy Policy
This Privacy Notice explains how San Antonio Christian School (“SACS”) uses your personal information submitted in the SACS online job application system. This Privacy Notice is not an employment contract and does not create or provide any legal rights or obligations. The definition of “personal information” relates to information about you within the context of you acting as a job applicant.
Collection of Personal Information
When you apply for a job with SACS, we will collect personal information about you, which may include the following:
Contact information, such as your full name, aliases or prior names, email address, home address, telephone numbers, and current work address and phone number.
Professional History and Qualifications, including your previous employers, previous positions and work experience, professional licenses and certificates, employment references, and other professional history.
Educational History and Qualifications, including all educational institutions attended and dates of attendance, highest degree earned, educational degrees or certificates, other educational qualifications you earned, and your transcripts and education references.
Financial Information, including salaries earned, bonuses, benefits, expenses, and banking information, if applicable.
Medical Information, including physician statements and requests for reasonable accommodations during the application and selection processes, and necessary information for medical emergencies.
Background Check Information, including a background check to verify professional and educational history and qualifications, religious beliefs, church attendance, or criminal history that may be relevant for employment.
Equal Opportunity Information, including age, race, national origin, ethnicity, sex, religion, disability or accommodation request, marital status, veteran status, and citizenship. This information will not be used for hiring decisions.
Technology Use-Related Information, including technical details about your use of our online services, such as cookies, IP addresses, etc. You may refer to the SACS general privacy notice on our website for further information.
Other Application and Interview Information, including personal information you choose to share during your interview or in your application, and any documentation you submit, including, but not limited to, a vita, resume, transcript, or other supporting documentation.
Information from Other Sources, including information from references, social media sites, and publicly-available sources.
Use of Personal Information
SACS uses the personal information collected during the application and selection process to do the following:
Identify you as a potential candidate for employment.
Verify the information received from you and other sources.
Determine your eligibility and suitability for employment.
Provide to interviewers and decision-makers related to the filling of positions at SACS.
Facilitate the interview and selection process.
Conclude the selection process.
Communicate with you about the status of your application.
Improve the performance of our personnel selection process.
Conduct internal investigations, audits, compliance, risk management, dispute resolution, and security.
Fulfill legal obligations to you should any arise.
Comply with any applicable law, rule, regulation, legal proceedings, or government investigations.
Please note that, if we provide an offer of employment to you, and you accept that offer, then we may transfer the personal information we collected about you during the job selection process to your payroll and personnel files.
For job application information that does not result in a hire, the information will be retained for three years. For job application information that does result in a hire, the information will be retained for seven years after the end of your employment with SACS.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We may share your personal information for any of the following purposes:
Within SACS, we may share personal information in order to facilitate your employment.
Online host: We engage with a third-party entity that hosts the SACS online application system, and we will share personal information with that third-party host.
Background check providers: SACS may use trusted background check researchers to conduct a background check in connection with a job application, to verify education and work history, qualifications, and criminal history.
Outside Service providers, including legal services, recruiting services, personnel management, benefits, security services, law enforcement, drug and alcohol testing services, retirement plan providers, and other related business operations, may require access to your personal information in order to provide services to SACS.
Consent
We may disclose personal information about you to other third parties with your consent.
Changes to Privacy Notice
