What You Will Do:
As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing avionics troubleshooting, repairs, installations, fabrication & modification of wire bundles and assisting the Revv Aviation Maintenance department as needed.
- Performing avionics inspections, repairs, alterations, and installations on aircraft in accordance with current technical data provided.
- Fabricating wiring bundles in accordance with engineering drawings and current technical data provided.
- Performing installations of wiring in aircraft, as well as the removal of wiring from the aircraft.
- Performing altitude reporting system, static system, and transponder checks per 14 CFR part 91.411 & 91.413 and part 43, Appendices E and F.
- Repairing components approved under the repair station capability list.
- Properly operating all specialty or calibrated tools and equipment within your assigned area of responsibility.
- Properly recording the work performed in accordance with methods established by the repair station.
- Maintaining the preservation of all parts during the work process installation with proper handling and storage.
- Reporting all missing or inoperative tools and equipment to the Avionics Supervisor.
- Maintaining all shop equipment and vehicles in a working and fully functional order.
- Other duties as assigned.
