QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work under deadlines
- Knowledge of/ability to learn the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required.
- Admission to a state bar, preferably Colorado.
- 1-3 years’ experience/knowledge in immigration law.
- Bilingual, with fluency in a non-English language spoken by one of Colorado’s refugee/asylee population preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record.
Admitted to the Colorado bar in active and good standing.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$60,000 - $70,000 - DOE
Schedule: This is a Full-time, 40 hours per week onsite
