Qualification, Requirements, Experience, Education:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Event Planning & Catering management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Minimum of $3 million in sales managed in a Director or Assistant Director role.
- Strong sales budget acumen and P&L knowledge.
- Strong understanding of event management platform analytics for creating action plans.
- Ability to coach team members.
- Strong knowledge of market segments to include weddings, corporate, SMURF & how to target.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must have fundamental computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Publisher.
- Strong knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and vendor partners.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of internal controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
Work Environment:
- This position may require working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- May require prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sitting at a desk.
- Ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
