Sr. XA Programmer

The ideal candidate will be within commuting distance to Milwaukee, WI however we are open to a remote candidate who is willing to travel.   

• Collaborate with end users to develop system driven solutions
• Write and test new code and document processes
• Troubleshoot and modify existing programs and reports
• Repair ERP system issues and minor network problems
• Support general IT department tasks as needed
• Assist with end user training
• Work with other IT personnel to build and maintain systems

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
• Five or more years of experience in computer programming
• Experience in a manufacturing environment: operations, inventory, costing, etc.
• Experience with the Infor XA/Mapics ERP system and related systems
• IBM iSeries familiarity
• RPG/CL
• DB2, SQL
• AS/400 query
• VPi
• MES and ATM (products of Information Systems Engineering)
• Experience with managing projects and project management methodology
• Experience with EDI preferred
