Description

STR Behavioral Health is seeking a HR Coordinator to join our team! This is a full-time, HYBRID position, working Monday. Wednesday and Friday ONSITE and Tuesday and Thursday remotely. Hours are 9a-5pm Eastern Time. Travel to locations within the STR network required (Bethlehem, Levittown. Warminster, Mahanoy City, Lancaster.)

How You Will Contribute:

The Human Resource Coordinator provides day to day human resources support for a behavioral healthcare treatment network.  The Human Resources Coordinator provides internal customer service to employees.  The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative functions for the Human Resources operations within the network.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Partners with the Human Resources Manager to promote and streamline effective processes that ensure the tasks within the department are completed efficiently and accurately.       
  2. Supports key initiatives related to customer service, core values, engagement, recruitment, payroll and benefits.   
  3. Escalates complex employee relations issues to ensure company-wide practices remain consistent. 
  4. Maintains an up-to-date understanding of facility staffing, recruitment, and support needs.
  5. Serves as the primary point of customer service for staff on items related to HR systems/processes.
  6. Conducts regular new employee orientation and onboarding in a warm and welcoming manner
  7. Assists with maintenance, creation, and distribution of HR related forms and communications.
  8. Conducts reference checks and background checks in accordance with policy.
  9. Ensures employee files are accurate and includes appropriate documents according to the licensing requirements for the state licensure and Joint Commission.
  10. Monitors dates for compliance with monitoring performance review dates, certifications, license, competencies, etc.
  11. Assists Human Resources Manager and payroll specialists with monitoring payroll practices.
  12. Supports recruiting and onboarding efforts.

 

Additional Responsibilities

 

  1. Acts as a point of customer service for staff on times related to Paycom and Relias.
  2. Organizes, attends, and participates in various meetings, as requested.
  3. Provides tactical support for various HR initiatives, as requested.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

What We're Seeking

Education and Experience

Position requires an associate's degree or equivalent in combined education and experience and 2+ years’ experience of Human Resources related experience.

 

Other Requirements

Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record for the last three years.
