Position Overview:
The Integrated Communications Manager will be responsible for orchestrating Merlin Law Group's comprehensive communication strategy, merging traditional public relations with dynamic digital content management. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role demands a proactive leader skilled in crafting and managing content across multiple platforms, including social media, while also spearheading our public relations efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development and Management:
- Develop and oversee the creation of all forms of content, including blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts, press releases, and public statements, ensuring they align with our firm’s strategic goals and brand voice.
- Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Manage and enhance the firm’s social media profiles across platforms, ensuring consistent engagement, brand alignment, and audience growth.
- Public Relations and Media Engagement:
- Lead all public relations activities, including media relations, crisis communications, and the development of PR campaigns that effectively convey the firm's key messages and values.
- Crisis Communication and Reputation Management:
- Design and implement crisis communication strategies to manage and safeguard the firm’s public image during critical incidents.
- Collaborative Content Creation:
- Work closely with the marketing and legal teams to ensure that all content and communications reflect the firm's values and objectives, enhancing our brand’s visibility and authority in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in public relations and digital communications, with a robust portfolio of successfully managed campaigns and content initiatives.
- Extensive experience managing social media platforms and digital content creation.
- Background in the legal, insurance, or a related highly regulated sector is highly beneficial.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling content for a variety of formats and audiences.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with the capacity to integrate PR and digital communications into a cohesive strategy.
- Expertise in crisis management, media relations, and proactive public engagement.

Education:
