• Properly prepare, handle and cook food items ensuring high quality product output combined with safe food service standards.
• Follow company recipe plans without deviation promoting consistency amongst all stores including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment including but not limited to; fryers, rational ovens and rice cookers.
• Understand and promote knowledge of safety procedures amongst colleagues to include safe temperatures for cooking/storing varying ingredients as well as possessing an awareness of food borne illness related topics.
• Be able to execute both opening and closing procedures should the need arise.
• Working with store leadership, monitor inventory levels for food products to ensure continuous supplies of key ingredients for the food service program.
• Possess the ability and willingness to work as part of a team in a professional manner including communication, distribution of work duties and quality of work.
• Understand and abide by the companies Rules of Conduct, policies and procedures.
• Compliance with all Federal, State, Local and Company safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Report to work on time and when scheduled and understand and honor the correct protocol to follow in the event of being unable to work.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
