Bank of Washington is seeking motivated candidates for the position of Network Administrator. For this entry-level position, the ideal candidate will be person with excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and great project management skills related to meeting multiple deadlines. Through the ability to organize and prioritize deadlines, contribute positively to our team and work flexible schedules, the employee has the opportunity for growth within our company.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assists in supporting the bank's local and wide area network hardware and software.
  • Assists in hardware/software implementation and troubleshooting activities.
  • Responsible for documenting any network or PC-related functions.
  • Assists with the diagnosis and resolution of network configuration and implementation issues.
  • Assists with all computer setups and installation.
  • Responsible for maintaining PC parts inventory, initiating orders, stocking parts and charging parts to proper cost centers.
  • Assists in installing packaged software systems and applications.
  • Assists with the diagnosis and resolution of needed PC repairs.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Combination of education and/or related experience for this entry-level position.
  • Knowledge in PC-based and LAN environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Work flexible schedules, which many include evenings and some weekends.
  • Ability to diagnose and correct hardware and software configuration problems.
  • Ability to adjust to frequent changes in workload to meet deadlines.
  • Possess clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to effectively express thoughts, ideas and concepts to internal and external customers.
