JOB SUMMARY

  • As an Electromechanical Technician at SMARTqube, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, focused on the precise assembly of electrical components to contribute to the production of cutting-edge motor controls, communications equipment, analytical equipment, and more. The role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to producing high-quality electrical and mechanical assemblies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to accurately assemble control panels.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and crimping of connections, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, soldering irons, and other equipment to assemble and test electrical components.
  • Conduct functional tests on assembled products to identify and address any issues, working closely with the quality control team.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of electrical components.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or trade school degree.
  • Experience in wiring.
  • Proven experience as an Integration Technician in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Familiarity with electrical components, circuits, and assembly techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Proficient in using basic hand tools and other assembly equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Team player with good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
