EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience managing social media channels and analyzing content for an organization brand required
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and content creation
- Portfolio of social media content that illustrates creative thinking and brings together a variety of visuals (photos, video, etc.)
SKILLS
- Self-starter with strong technical background, talent for writing creative copy, designing, and modifying graphics, and managing social media to create engaging, brand-focused content
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail and creativity
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X), success metrics, best practices, and trends and management platforms (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite)
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles
- Demonstrated capacity to use analytics (social and website) to inform insights that drive strategy
- Ability to interpret complex subject matter and multifaceted content and identify compelling themes, quotes, soundbites to highlight attention-grabbing social media posts
- Excellent project management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a range of complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams and provide top-notch customer service
- Solutions-oriented with superior problem solving and judgment
- Ability to discern future trends in the digital content and social media space and act proactively

LOCATION
Daily activities are conducted in a typical office environment. EJW currently adheres to a hybrid work model whereby employees who live within a reasonable commuting area within the Washington, DC metropolitan area are required to be in person in-office two times per week.
- Regular travel is expected to be less than 10%.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The salary range for the Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator position is $50,000 - $59,600, based on experience.
