First State Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated candidate with a strong customer service focus to fill the role of Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative.The Commercial Lines CSR provides service to current and prospective customers, as well as supporting Account Manager/Senior Account Manager and the book of business assigned to the team. In this role you will perform functions personally and in collaboration with the team.

Professionalism
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients while building relationships with clear effective communication
- Maintain confidentiality in all dealing with clients and within the agency
Accountability
- Review all activities/follow-ups daily and check all changes for accuracy
- Review/Process all assigned documents within the prescribed processing times
- Prepare Proposals once quotes have been approved by producer or account manager
Initiative
- Prepare Proof of Coverage documentation (Certificates/Auto ID Cards, etc.)
- Deliver "Summary of Insurance" to producers and account manager on a timely basis (150 days prior to renewal)
- Assist with policy change request on-line using, e-mail from AMS and create activity/follow-up
Adaptability
- Enter new or updated renewal application provided by producer or account manager using the submissions feature in AMS360.
- Assist with new and renewal marketing as directed by AM or Senior AM.

Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must possess or be willing to pass and maintain Property & Casualty insurance license
- Must obtain and maintain professional designation relevant to the position
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- 1 to 2 years' industry specific experience preferred
- Strong sense of punctuality & attendance
- High school diploma/GED
