Description

Position Summary
Account Managers are responsible for establishing, maintaining, and expanding Lubricants sales in USA and Canada (for the assigned sectors, customers, and regions), working directly with customers and prospects as well as other Account Managers.


Essential Job Functions
• Maintain current sales and increase sales volume, through personal interactions with customers and prospects or engaging with other Account Managers. Interact with other divisions and support teams in order to warrant customer satisfaction, business compliance & continuity as well sales growth.


• Deep understanding of customer needs and requirements. Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that drive win-win scenarios for the customer and ILA. Own the customer/prospect relationship and is the primary point of contact for customers.


• Ensure ILA has a competitive value proposition, knowing the product portfolio and related services (Distribution, Oil Analysis, Trainings, Logistics and Pricing) and requesting new product and service developments/improvements when necessary.


• In a team player spirit, interact with all Industrial Account Managers and other associated roles and divisions, to increase the overall industrial business results.


• Take a leadership role internally with multiple departments to ensure customers’ expectations are met or exceeded. Display a leadership mindset, coach and support internal stakeholders in their daily sales activities.

Qualifications

Education
BA or equivalent experience preferred in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience
5-7 years Sales
5+ years in Natural Gas and CCS projects sales.


Job Knowledge/Special Skills/Abilities
• Able to use computers at a high level with capability in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM
(Salesforce), and email (Outlook). Overall strong PC skills.
• Very strong written & verbal communication skills. Able to communicate professionally to internal and
external shareholders, including c-level executives. Talented public speaker and listener. Great presentation
skills.
• Technical knowledge related to stationary gas engines, gas compressors and turbines and other related CCS
equipment’s.
• Able to process information logically and understand and follow ethical business practices.
• Leadership mindset, analytical capability, planning and organizing, collaborative decision making, high
level of emotional intelligence with a global perspective, and positive attitude.
• High sales/service drive. Outstanding/expert level negotiation skills with different organizational levels.
• High degree of self-motivation with excellent time management skills.
• Advanced sales tools knowledge. Able to plan and formulate sales strategies and promote community-based
sales. Able to make comprehensive proposals to customers and formulated sales strategies.
• Able to share their expert negotiation skills and technical & sales guidance through coaching & training.
• Set a good example of how to do the job; demonstrates personal integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
• Able to meet firm deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Planning and organizing skills, collaborative decision making, and leadership mindset.
• Able to identify problems and solve independently or involving other associates.
• Knowledge of sales planning, project management, product development, and pricing analysis and strategy.
