Graphic Designer

We seek Christ-centered professionals who want to join a team of disciplined and talented superstars committed to working together to accomplish our mission. The Graphic Designer is responsible for providing Graphic support for worship, ministry promotion, and church-wide events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce and be efficient in both print and digital Graphic Design work
• Produce weekly Sunday Worship Bulletin  
• Produce ministry print and digital materials including flyers, booklets, postcards, social graphics, email templates, and more
• Produce churchwide and ministry specific signage needs including posters, building signs, retractable signage, and more
• Update weekly slides for First Baptist Dallas digital signage
• Function in an interactive and cross-functional relationship with all other ministries and support areas of the church
• Communicate with external vendors regarding packaging files for print items
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Communications Manager

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

• Embody the Green Team Characteristics and work according to Operating Principles
• Must have a bachelor's level degree in Graphic Design or an equivalent field of study
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience creating graphic designs and branding and marking concepts, strong proficiency working in Macintosh environment
• Must possess a strong proficiency in Mac OSX, Adobe Creative Suite 4 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat and PDF creation, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Flash
• Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment with extremely tight deadlines

Physical

• Must be able to sit for long periods
• Must be able to lift to 10 pounds
• Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods
