- BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
- The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented person with excellent computer skills, who is able to manage many tasks and projects at once.
- Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills, both written and verbal and strict adherence to confidentiality.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP requirements.
- Non-profit affordable housing real estate development accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, databases, etc.) experience with ERP, Sage MIP and Yardi preferred.
- Knowledge of and strong skills in the use of accounting and budgeting software.
- High degree of accuracy in data-entry and filing.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and function independently and to work as a team member.
