POSITION SUMMARY
The Kripalu marketing team is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media and Community Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, collaborating with Kripalu staff, faculty, and outside presenters, managing online communities, and driving and measuring engagement across various platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and strong writing and communication skills to build and maintain a positive brand image for Kripalu. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, collaborative self-starter and problem solver and is excited about the opportunity to manage a social community of over 300,000 followers and join Kripalu at this pivotal time for the organization.
This role is hybrid with a strong preference to those candidates that can be onsite 2-3 days a week at our Stockbridge location.
Key Responsibilities:

Create, curate, and manage content including images, videos, reels and more - across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.

Collaborate with marketing, programming, guest services, Kripalu faculty and outside presenters to create engaging and on-brand content.

Proactively monitor and address negative comments, feedback, or crises on social media platforms by responding professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary, and implementing strategies to maintain Kripalu’s reputation and trust with our audience.
