JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for a minimum of 9 hours and a maximum of 21 hours per week with a minimum of 15 in person contacts with patients including a minimum of ten (30) minute psychotherapy sessions per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide verbal psychotherapy to individuals and/or in groups setting.
- Conduct intakes as needed
- Assess clients’ need for services.
- Formulate appropriate treatment plans for clients.
- Centrally coordinate each client’s psychotherapy with ancillary and combined services when needed.
- Include coordination with social work services, psychological evaluations, and psychiatric consultations.
- Maintain current and timely records on all patients in accordance with the PCMH policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by PCMH management.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of children and adult clients.
- Competence in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to clients and staff.
- Awareness and commitment to respective training programs operated by PCMH.
- Ability to complete documentations in an efficient, timely, and competent manner.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Computer literate.
