We are looking for entry-level and experienced candidates to fill our open positions:

$74,000.00 - $107,000.00 / annually, Full-time

  • Handles tubular goods by manually, pushing, pulling, lifting and operating hoists and racking equipment.
  • Measures tubular goods using a rig tape.
  • Makes and breaks tubular connections using tongs, and handles tubular goods, spinning chain, iron roughnecks, elevators and slips.
  • Visually inspects connections, dies, nuts and bolts on drill floor and drilling equipment including derrick.  Replace, repair, and tighten as required.
  • Assist Derrick hand in changing screens.
  • Relieve Derrick hand as needed.
  • Assist Driller in the training and instruction of less experienced Floor hands.
  • Assist with:
  • Rigging up
  • Nippling up
  • Running casing
  • Lubricating jacking system during Rig moves
  • Tearing down specialized equipment
  • Forms part of Well Control Team during shut in procedures.
  • Work in a safe and conscientious manner to ensure personal safety and the safety of all crewmembers.
  • Report any irregularities or safety hazards to drillers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods of time.
  • Will require to ability to work over side of Rig, work from high elevations, and will require climbing.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including rain, sleet, snow, heat, wind, etc.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 7 months experience on a land-based rig preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and hair follicle drug screen.
