Job Summary
Supporting our Corporate and Business Law Practice Group, the Paralegal will support our attorneys in providing comprehensive legal services to our diverse clients. You will work on a wide range of corporate matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, UCC Searches, audit letters, support forming entities and contract management, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare written reports, summaries, and drafts of legal documents.Â
- Assist with investigations, including gathering and summarizing information.
- Draft and review legal documents such as audit letters, contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.Â
- Ensure all documents comply with legal procedures and requirements.
- Assist in managing case files, including organizing case materials, maintaining client records, and tracking deadlines.Â
- Prepare and file court and other government agency documents and correspondence. Ensure all filings are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, and schedule meetings. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Additional responsibilities specific to your assigned practice group may be required.
