Essential Qualifications:
Ability to project an outgoing, friendly personality.
Produce, Floral, and/or meat-seafood management experience
Demonstrated ability to lead staff, build sales and manage budgets and shrink.
Able to select and display produce for maximum appeal and train others to do the same
Able to operate department safely and efficiently
Ability to work with customers and co-workers from various cultural backgrounds
Regular, predictable attendance
Self-motivation / direction.
Functional Qualifications:
The ability to stand and walk for long periods; work daily in a cooler and outdoors; lift, bend, and twist, while holding boxes up to 60 #; prepare, price and stock items, run a touch-screen register.
Available evening and weekends
Fluent English is required for this customer-focused position.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years Produce, Floral, and/or meat-seafood management experience in a natural foods setting
Experience in other areas of store operations is a plus
Knowledge of organic and local produce/meat
