Who We Need

Sabel Systems has the technology solutions to support cloud-based processes for Digital Engineering, enabling Digital Threads for, and Digital Twins of, complex weapon systems. Our DoD customers have urgent and persistent needs to address new capabilities of near-peer strategic competitors, and asymmetric threats from disruptive actors. Overview: As a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) Developer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating automated CI/CD Pipelines into our DevSecOps (DSO) Foundry service. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the functionality of all pipeline stages (Build, Test, Deploy) offered to our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of CI/CD technology, DoD DSO best practices, and proactive support of a production cloud service. 

Job Qualifications 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Collaborate with DSO Foundry team to develop, test, deploy and support GitLab pipelines for use by clients. 
2. Engage with clients as a CI/CD subject matter expert to aid technical, training, and troubleshooting discussions.  
3. Leverage expertise on common CI/CD applications, databases, and processes to ensure their functionality within the pipeline. 
4. Develop and maintain documentation for DSO Foundry policies, procedures, and best practices. 
5. Participate in incident response activities and contribute to the resolution of DSO Foundry issues. (i.e. Help Desk) 
6. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and DSO CI/CD technologies. 
7. Support of Database and API communication development activities (Training available on current DEE solutions). 

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 
2. 5+ Years of Experience developing and sustaining CI/CD Pipelines (Preferred DoD Experience) 
3. Can be or is cleared for DoD work at Unclassified, Secret, or Top-Secret Levels. 
4. Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles, practices, and technologies. 
5. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Podman). 
6. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Go) for automation tasks. 
7. Proficient with Version Control Tools (e.g. Git). 
8. Familiarity with infrastructure principles and experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Arcus). 
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
10. Experience with Platform One Big Bang, Party Bus, and Iron Bank (Preferred)

Salary and Benefits

The range for this position is between $120,000 and $150,000. Actual salary will be negotiated with this position’s Hiring Manager and can vary depending on the following factors: Billable contract and labor category, experience, skills, education /certifications/ licenses & geographic location.
