About your role:
The Field Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with the EPC Project Manager and the Project Construction Manager to ensure seamless coordination, planning, and execution of project activities. This role is pivotal in maintaining effective communication between the office team, field team, vendors, site services, and subcontractors to ensure coordination and minimize delivery / receiving issues. Depending on project requirements, the Project Coordinator may also assume the responsibilities of Field Project Controls Specialist and/or Materials Coordinator.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
- Work with the EPC Project Manager and Construction Manager to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between office and field teams to keep projects within scope and on schedule
- Ensure material reporting and receiving is accurate and entered into 4CastPlus
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the project progress and reporting database that tracks overall performance and achievement of milestones
- Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management and escalate issues according to project work plan
- Assist with field related tasks including, but not limited to, walking down systems and witnessing hydro tests
- Document and ensure the closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Maintain construction logs and assist with the preparation of turnover packages and job books.
- Support skill development of team members and assist in training and supporting field project controls and materials coordinators as needed.
- Collaborate with field teams on the implementation of new software and procedures.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
