Summary/ObjectiveÂ
Â
The Night Audit is responsible for assisting guests with their overnight requests and the end-of-day bookkeeping, auditing and account reconciliation.Â

Greets and welcomes guests.Â

Assigns rooms and keys.Â

Answer the phone in a pleasant manner.Â

Makes reservations.Â

Reconcile accounts.Â

Balance the cash drawer and log receipts.Â

Distributes closing and morning shift reports to the appropriate departments.Â

Prepares reports to be forwarded to Accounting.Â

Prepares and distributes the Daily Operating Summary.Â

All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.Â

Performs other duties as directed.Â
