Job Title: HR Manager (Recruitment & Employee Relations)
Pay: $65,000 annual salary
Location: Kissimmee, FL
FLSA Status: Salary/Exempt
Note: This position is based on-site. Due to the nature of the role, which involves direct interaction with employees, managers, and leadership, the HR Manager must be present in the workplace to effectively support day-to-day operations and foster employee engagement. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including workforce planning, job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition.
- Partner with department managers to understand staffing needs, ensure job descriptions are accurate, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring timely updates and accurate candidate records.
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, turnover) and recommend process improvements.
- Represent the Company at job fairs, hospitality schools, and community recruitment events.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on workplace matters, providing guidance on company policies, performance, and conflict resolution.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and compliance with labor laws.
- Support managers in performance management, including coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary processes.
- Promote employee engagement and recognition programs to support retention and morale.
- Maintain general knowledge of benefit programs, ensuring employees are well-informed and enrolled appropriately.
- Maintain an open-door policy and foster a positive workplace culture that reflects the organization’s values.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner with leadership to align HR practices with organizational goals.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, equipment locations, and reporting protocols.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times to reflect the standards of the Company.
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards.
