Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Strategic Operations will work closely with the C-suite on special assignments and projects related to enhancing business operations, supporting strategic initiatives, or building capability. The Director of Strategic Operations will act as key operations leader across the organization to drive strategic initiatives that promote UUG’s Mission and Vision with a keen focus on developing programs to drive patient access, clinical quality, and physician and patient satisfaction. This leader will also be asked to participate in projects that support the broader strategy of the organization and will be asked to collaborate across the executive leadership team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Management and execution of strategic process/operational initiatives as developed in conjunction with senior team (e.g., new service lines/ancillary services development and operations, operational efficiency, market strategy, process improvement, etc.).
- Managing ad hoc operational issues/challenges at the direction of the COO.
- Supporting strategic initiatives through presentations/discussions across the Company, in company leadership meetings, and other company-wide forums.
- Driving outcomes cross-functionally to build consensus and execute to meet deadlines and targeted results.
- Maintain and prioritize pipeline of opportunities to drive efficiency and productivity across the company.
- Works with functional leaders to assess and prioritize ideas and ensure clear timing and ownership are established for all projects pursued.
