The JR Electrical Engineer assists in the development of DC and AC electrical systems for new models to meet NMMA/ABYC/USCG requirements and customer expectations. The incumbent would help design and document boat electrical systems, specify breaker panels, electrical components and provide assistance in the construction of pre-production boats. This is intended as an entry level position for a recent graduate looking to join the Marine Industry.

Job Responsibilities - JR Electrical Engineer:
- Assist with the design and documentation of the DC electrical system to include wiring diagrams, panel design, harness layout, and installation plan for all standard and optional DC components.
- Assist with the design and documentation of both 110 Volt and 220 Volt AC electrical systems to include wiring diagrams, panel design, harness layout, and installation plans for all standard and optional AC components.
- Assist with writing specifications for electrical components to be used in the construction of new models.
- Assist with the content definition and routing documentation of all AC and DC harnesses.
- Support development of PLC software / hardware and HMI touch panels
- Support development of exterior and interior lighting plan to include navigation lights.
- Support development of exterior and interior entertainment system plans to include TVs, HIFI stereo, speakers and sub woofers.
- Support electrical system design reviews as necessary.
- Support creation of installation documentation for electrical harnesses and components.
- Support the definition of electrical components for the BOM.
- Participate in resolution of design, build and installation issues.
- Maintain department schedule to meet key milestones.
- Support AC/DC electrical system changes to current product.
