Position: Wastewater Treatment Operator/Environmental Field Technician

Travel: < 10% (work is field-based at work site)
Salary Range: $55,000 to $72,500 DOE
Office/Hybrid/Remote: On-site, field-based at the Pueblo Chemical Depot

Who are YOU?
You are an experienced site-specific wastewater treatment operator, capable of performing remedial system operations and maintenance (O&M), troubleshooting, optimization, along with a variety of monitoring/sampling activities. You can work independently, as well as be part of a team, with excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
What does your day/week look like?
- Ensure that Health and Safety is the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, always acting in a safe manner and controlled manner
- Operate and maintain water treatment equipment
- Operate and maintain water quality meters
- Operate GPS and electronic data collection devices
- Assure integrity, cleanliness, and security of system buildings/enclosure and equipment
- Collect groundwater samples using bladder pumps, peristaltic pumps, and/or bailers
- Accurate completion of field data sheets
- Ability to follow Sampling and Analysis Plans/Quality Assurance Project Plans
- Write sampling activity reports
