Job Purpose:
We are in search of an experienced and safety-minded driver to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and trailers within the Denver metro area, and occasionally Greeley. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Denver and the surrounding area, a reliable work ethic, and a commitment to safe driving practices. Depending on daily needs, this position will handle parts deliveries, trailer transport, and provide support to the back parts counter when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary job duties and responsibilities are included but not limited to:
- Safely load, secure, and unload parts and materials.
- Transport trailers (empty) and miscellaneous materials between designated locations.
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicles (truck, trailer, or delivery van).
- Ensure trailer hitch is properly and securely attached when towing.
- Map and follow efficient pickup and delivery routes to ensure timely service.
- Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, oil changes, tire pressure, cleanliness).
- Notify management of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to weather and road conditions.
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude with customers and coworkers
- Assist the Back Parts Counter as needed.
- Assist service technicians as needed.
- Lift and move parts/materials as required (up to 51 pounds).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
