The Legal Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Legal Department of the credit union. This position is responsible for organizing legal documents, coordinating contract and regulatory filings, assisting with document review, and supporting legal and compliance activities. The Legal Coordinator works closely with internal departments, outside counsel, and regulators to ensure smooth, timely legal operations and proper document management in alignment with the credit union’s policies and regulatory standards.Â
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Â

Coordinate the intake, tracking, and filing of legal documents, contracts, subpoenas, and regulatory correspondence.Â

Maintain organized and confidential legal files, including contracts, litigation files, and compliance materials.Â

Assist with preparing and distributing responses to legal inquiries, subpoenas, garnishments, or levies under supervision.Â

Support project management for legal initiatives, including policy updates, audits, and compliance reviews.Â
