POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Project Coordinator will be working across internal and external teams to coordinate, facilitate, and track projects to ensure that they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Marketing Project Coordinator will work with their manager to identify which projects require coordination and ways in which they can assist. The Marketing Project Coordinator will use project management tools and templates such as Jira to help track projects across the department.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with coordinating marketing projects such as marketing campaigns, web site pages, blog pages and other digital content 
  • Take clear meeting notes, including action items and distribute minutes appropriately 
  • Follow up with internal and external team members to ensure that assigned tasks are completed according to schedule 
  • Diplomatically remind and nudge project team members for overdue task assignments 
  • Assist with organizing files and electronic marketing library management
  • Upload and distribute approved marketing assets across internal departments
  • Assist with following up and gaining internal approvals for press releases, blogs and other marketing asset that require stakeholder approvals
  • Assist Marketing Events team with trade show forms and coordination

 

ECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Strong communication skills required - ability to interact and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) with C-level executives, management, staff, IT, and customers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office automation tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Education:

Required: Currently in college with intent to graduate with Marketing related degree
