Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate master’s level Intern (APCC; AMFT, MSW) to join our team and provide therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor. This internship provides rich, hands-on clinical experience working with individuals and groups across a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and culturally responsive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intakes, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations of clients.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy under clinical supervision.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans within an Electronic Health Record
- Attend weekly individual and/or group supervision sessions.
- Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Collaborate with supervisors, case managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality care.
- Uphold all legal, ethical, and professional standards, including confidentiality, HIPAA compliance and CARF standards
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, Social Work or a related field
- Registered as an Intern with the BBS
- Ability to work with diverse populations and a range of clinical issues.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to personal and professional growth, self-awareness, and ethical practice.
