About Us

At The Fire Society, we seek to redefine expectations of catering and event planning. In our event planning process, that means truly understanding each client's vision for their event, so that we can integrate seamlessly as a partner in achieving client goals.  In our kitchen, this means delivering Michelin-level standards of food and service, whether in the form of cutting-edge haute cuisine or by channeling the flavors of global street foods. We are proud to be a chef-driven company, with culinary leadership hailing from some of the best restaurants in the Bay Area and beyond.

About the Job

We are currently seeking head chefs to work for our full-service event companies.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, friendly, and service-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality who loves bringing warmth and joy to others.  At our company, we highly value teamwork, positivity, and a “can-do” attitude.  We are seeking individuals to join our team who embody these values and who are also accountable, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.

Working in the event industry is challenging and yet rewarding -- each event that we produce is unique in terms of the type of event, the style of service, where we are working, what we are offering, and who we are serving.  If you are looking for a job that is going to be different each time you show up to work and the dynamic nature of our industry gives you a sense of energy and excitement, then this might be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a head chef, you will assist in the setup, presentation, service, and breakdown of our events.  You will serve as a knowledgeable representative of our company as you interact with our guests and fellow vendors.  Most importantly, you will be part of a team of passionate people who work hard to produce some of the best events in the Bay Area.
