Description

This position pays Hourly wage + Commissions + Gratuities in accordance with company policy. 

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for performing professional quality hair services offered by The Spa at Flying Horse within scope of practice and licensing.

  •  Perform services according to required standards
  • Check hair room & equipment and ensure room checklists are completed for proper set up and closing
  • Participate in continuing education programs as required
  • Ensure all sanitation protocols are up to date and readily accessible
  • Wear proper uniform, including name tag
  • Sell retail products by promotion of hair care and educate members, guests and the public about available products/services
  • Actively build your book of clientele by utilizing tools provided by the Flying Horse marketing team and utilize appointment cards/business cards
  • Select the appropriate service based on the clients’ needs and requests 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be actively licensed in the State of Colorado in your field of expertise. Must have one year of experience as a hair styling professional. Must be detail oriented, accurate and possess good organizational abilities and be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Must be competent, dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be able to use tact and diplomacy to meet high demands of Spa and Spa customers.  Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.
