Job Purpose:
- To develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing inventory costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and material availability.
- Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules to minimize excess inventory and prevent stockouts.
- Track production progress and identify any delays or issues that may impact delivery dates.
- Communicate production schedules and any changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Generate reports on production performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
- Participate in production meetings and provide updates on schedule status.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
