KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends - Required.
- Fundamental understanding of accounts receivable practices and accounting principles - Required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERPs - Preferred.
- Ability to manage and meet fiscal goals - Preferred.
- Non-profit accounting experience - Preferred.
- General understanding of banking procedures and related activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for maintaining effective client and team relationships.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Dependability, as the best ability is availability.
- Show teachability while completing multiple ongoing projects.
- Willingness to pivot during competing priorities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum four-year Bachelors college degree, preferably with a focus on business, finance, or accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and reporting).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for maintaining effective client and team relationships.
- Demonstrated history of meticulous accuracy, organization, and independent productivity.
- Experience with handling cash and cash equivalents.
