Description

The Project Manager oversees and directs the integration of all systems within the company. This position coordinates and participates in the full system application development life cycle activities. The person is responsible for managing, prioritizing, and coordinating all system projects and must coordinate cross-division with external technical experts to execute all system projects.

In addition, the person is the subject matter expert on all issues related to SAP and provides principal technical support for all end users. This position collaborates cross-department to conduct first-level investigation and escalation; and delivers resolution for all issues within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities

3+ years of formal Project Management experience; retail setting preferred.

Intermediate SAP, MS SQL Server, Oracle Database, POS, Retail Management systems experiences.

Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration, and service desk administration.

Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them.

Demonstrated ability to translate model business process and converting requirements into business application.

Self-motivated and able to resolve tasks from origination to resolution.

Mandarin speaking/reading preferred.

Job Duties

Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals; Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports

Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees

Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities

Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget; Conducting risk assessments for projects

Overseeing the planning, development, and integration of ERP systems

Managing the functionality upgrades and modifications to the ERP systems; Tracking, analyzing, and resolving issues with ERP systems

Taking budgetary responsibility for the system's rollout and preparing to report packages for the steering committee

Communicating with management on schedules, delays, and work changes for ERP projects

Training users on new and upgraded systems; Managing change across the organization to ensure a gradual adoption of the systems
