Job Summary

Insurance Defense Litigation firm located in Woburn, associated with Safety Insurance Company, is seeking a legal secretary. The legal assistant will provide the necessary administrative support for a two-attorney defense team.

 

Duties

  • This position has a strong potential for growth as the firm evolves. Responsibilities include pleading preparation, scheduling and coordination of meetings, litigation data maintenance, calendar management, general office duties and other projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-10 years of relevant legal administrative work experience.
  • Familiarity with the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Computer Assisted Legal Research a plus.
  • College degree preferred.
