MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s in accounting or related field required; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, including transactional work, reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with multi-entity or divisional financial statements and allocations highly desirable.
- Experience with mergers/acquisitions, payroll accounting and/or lease accounting under ASC 842 a plus.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.Â
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work in order to meet deadlines.Â
- Computer skills needed: MS Excel (advanced skills such as lookups, pivot tables and macros are preferred), MS Word, Enterprise Accounting Software (Microsoft D365 Business Central experience is a plus). Experience with Google Office, financial reporting tools, close management software and/or Power BI a plus.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, positive, and able to collaborate across departments.
