Payroll Specialist Manager

Ideal Image Inc. is presently seeking to hire a skilled Payroll Specialist Manager with the requisite expertise outlined below:
1. Oversee and execute payroll processing utilizing software, ensuring the accuracy of time sheets, and entering relevant data into databases and spreadsheets to monitor per diems, deduction discrepancies, and employee loans. Generate payroll reports for bi-weekly journal entries, manage direct deposits, resolve data errors, and assist employees in correcting discrepancies. Process wage garnishments and child support orders, and update employee profiles to reflect pay raises, loan deductions, schedules, and labor allocations.
2. Update and maintain employee records and information, including wages and address changes, while verifying and adjusting tax information, as necessary. Manage expense reimbursements and assist with various projects and tasks as required. Demonstrated experience in preparing and recording journal entries, managing general ledger accounts, and understanding accounting principles and reports is essential. Familiarity with Paycom HR and Payroll Software or similar systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is mandatory.
3. Previous experience with Sage (Peachtree) Accounting software or comparable programs is advantageous. Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Knowledge of payroll software, policies, employee benefit programs, and accounting practices is crucial, along with proficiency in using office equipment and effective verbal and written communication skills. The ability to adapt to high-pressure situations, conduct research and analysis, and collaborate within a team is also important.
4. Maintain job postings for open positions, recruit candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the hiring process for qualified applicants. Experience in managing and maintaining employee benefits is also required and to include Self-Insured Health Plans.
