We are looking for friendly, energetic and enthusiastic team players to join the J Carver family. Our focus is on the total satisfaction of every guest. We interact with one another in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

  • Knowledgeable, skillful and confident preparation of menu item, special, or special order.
  • Prepare products for station
  • Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment
  • Maintain equipment and facility
  • Maintain accuracy of all food procedures and product temperatures
  • Ensure all recipes specs are followed

Job Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communiate in English (Verbal and Written)
  • Valid Food Handler's Certificate Required
  • 2 years line cooking experience in similar environment
  • Fundamental comprehension of operating professional kitchen equipment
  • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) to execute recipes
  • Knowledge of and skill in using English measurements in volume and weight

Qualifications

Preferred

  • High School/G.E.D
  • 18 years of age or older

Strongly Preferred

  • Valid Food Worker Card
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Physically able to stand, walk and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
  • Not convicted of felony
