Job Overview:Â
We are seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented Technical SEO & Data Intelligence Specialist to own the technical SEO performance, structured data strategy, and analytics implementation for our eCommerce platform. This role ensures our performance marketing teams and agency partners have access to clean, scalable, and privacy-compliant data infrastructure while enhancing our visibility in search engines and emerging AI platforms.Â
This position is ideal for a data-driven SEO and analytics professional who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, technical problem-solving, and improving website discoverability and performance.Â
Responsibilities:Â
Google Tag Manager (Web + Server-Side): Own setup, maintenance, and optimization of GTM, including custom tags, data layers, conversion tracking, and third-party pixel implementation. Preference for candidates with server-side GTM experience.Â
GA4 Event Strategy: Lead configuration and ongoing management of GA4, implementing Google’s recommended events (eCommerce, scroll, search, video interactions). Ensure enhanced measurement is correctly configured for robust reporting.Â
Structured Data/Schema Management: Manage schema.org implementation in Magento. Maintain and optimize structured data for products, reviews, breadcrumbs, FAQs, and other key areas to boost SEO and AI discoverability.Â
AI & LLM Optimization: Optimize content and site structure for visibility in AI and large language models (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) using semantic markup and machine-readable metadata.Â
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal marketing, performance analysts, developers, and external agencies to translate campaign tracking needs into scalable tagging and reporting solutions.
RJ Metrics Ownership: Own setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of RJ Metrics to ensure accurate reporting of orders, discounts, revenue, and other critical metrics.Â
Technical SEO Health Monitoring: Identify and resolve crawl, indexation, and site structure issues using Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and related tools. Support Core Web Vitals and page speed performance initiatives.Â
UX & Behavior Analytics: Maintain and analyze tools like RJ Metrics and Mouseflow to identify site interaction trends and optimize customer experience.Â
QA & Documentation: Proactively test tracking/data accuracy, debug issues, and maintain documentation for GTM, GA4, and structured data setups.Â
