We are looking for a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team! This role is responsible for leading all aspects of the organization’s recruitment and selection processes and serves as a strategic partner to leadership and hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively. A key focus of this position will be developing and maintaining strong partnerships with colleges and universities to build a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates, foster community engagement, and promote career opportunities aligned with our mission. Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for open positions across all departments
- Partner with department leaders to understand workforce needs to proactively address anticipated openings
- Collaborate with Marketing department to develop new and creative recruitment strategies
- Create and maintain job postings that accurately reflect position requirements and organizational culture
- Source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships
- Build and nurture partnerships with colleges, universities, and community organizations to enhance the visibility and reach of the JBRI brand (Estimated out of office including travel: 30%)
- Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and execute effective engagement strategies
- Responsible for managing intern inquiries/submissions as well as talent development aspects for the organizationÂ
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate interview logistics with hiring teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment records within the applicant tracking system (ATS), time to fill metrics, and a weekly staffing report
- Monitor recruiting metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and recommend improvements
- Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and professional networking opportunities
- Ensure proper fiscal responsibility in recruitment related tasks and responsibilitiesÂ
- Ensure all recruitment practices align with organizational policies and employment law requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2Â years of experience in recruiting/talent acquisition
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruitment best practices, and sourcing techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms, Paycom preferred
- Preferred candidate has experience in healthcare settings as well as an understanding of CARF and DBHDS requirementsÂ
