Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to oversee and manage our FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administration, planning, and coordination of the program, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of education and training. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the aviation maintenance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technician School, including administration, budgeting, and staff management.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, including Part 147 and other applicable standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve program goals and objectives, in alignment with the school's overall mission and vision.
- Collaborate with instructors and staff to continually assess and improve the curriculum, ensuring it remains up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Manage the hiring, training, and evaluation of instructors and support staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success and retention.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Represent the program at recruitment events, industry functions, and other public-facing engagements.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting to regulatory agencies, including timely submission of required documentation and reports.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, including industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
