- Working knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification levels and NIST 800-171 framework.
- Strong understanding of advanced network concepts (physical and virtual).
- Strong understanding of Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM).
- Ability to track and manage projects.
- Understanding of SCADA and OT.
- Strategic thinker that is energized by complex, multi-faceted problem-solving.
- Self-starter mindset to proactively address project needs and anticipate next steps.
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches promptly while understanding the business impact.
- Ability to write and read English.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
- MBA in information systems is preferred.
- 5 -7 years experience in information security or related field.
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques preferred.
