Description

The security analyst plays a vital role in keeping Click Bond’s proprietary and sensitive information secure. They will work inter-departmentally to identify and correct flaws in the company’s security systems, solutions, and programs while recommending specific measures to improve its overall security posture. This includes securing both online
and on-premises infrastructures, analyzing metrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, and finding and mitigating risks before breaches occur.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track System Security Plan (SSP) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).
  • Perform both internal and external security audits.
  • Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
  • Monitor organizational security access.
  • Verify the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements.
  • Continuously update the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls. and data encryption programs.
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management.
  • Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Report immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.
  • Understand and observe all safety guidelines and assure quality and safety by complying with all appropriate CB policies and procedures.
  • Work with 802.1X technology to manage devices on Click Bond’s networks.

  • Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Working knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification levels and NIST 800-171 framework.
  • Strong understanding of advanced network concepts (physical and virtual).
  • Strong understanding of Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM).
  • Ability to track and manage projects.
  • Understanding of SCADA and OT.
  • Strategic thinker that is energized by complex, multi-faceted problem-solving.
  • Self-starter mindset to proactively address project needs and anticipate next steps.
  • Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
  • Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.
  • Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches promptly while understanding the business impact.
  • Ability to write and read English.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
  • MBA in information systems is preferred.
  • 5 -7 years experience in information security or related field.
  • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques preferred.
