Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a consistent, equitable, and high-quality candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess staffing needs and define job requirements.
  • Develop and post job advertisements on internal systems, external job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Source candidates through online databases, networking, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct resume screening, phone interviews, and initial candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels as needed, based on the position and hiring process.
  • For certain roles, participate in interviews and make hiring decisions; for others, support the process by screening applicants and scheduling interviews for supervisors.
  • Extend job offers and initiate pre-employment and onboarding processes in alignment with company policy.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate recruitment reports as needed.
  • Promote employer branding and represent the organization at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Ensure all recruitment practices are compliant with employment laws, company policies, and diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-turnover and hard-to-fill positions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in an in-house
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of EEO, ADA, and other applicable employment regulations.
