Education and Experience Requirements:
An individual in this position has attained a minimum of HS diploma/GED to meet entry-level requirements and has completed certification in any of the skilled maintenance trades. Education beyond the minimum is an added advantage for career development activities.Â
The individual will have a minimum of 1-3 years of basic mechanical experience. The individual should also have a basic understanding of computers including Microsoft Office, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and should know how to search, send electronic communication, find files, etc. Individual needs to be able to learn and use preventive maintenance software for scheduling and monitoring various equipment throughout the factory.Â
The individual should have hands-on experience with all types of equipment controls and basic NESC, UL/ETL knowledge (to include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc.). Current material handling certification, Lock Out/Tag Out, Lifting & Rigging, preventive or predictive maintenance or any journeyman/trades licensing is preferred. Â

Successful job incumbents will consistently demonstrate competency when engaged in the following critical tasks:Â Â Â
- Evaluate corrective maintenance/repair on machinery.Â
- Continuous successful pursuit of and completion of the designated maintenance education program.Â
Work Environment:
- Perform all tasks on-site.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following applicable safety policies.
- Work consistently in a dusty factory setting, experiencing extreme temperatures.
- Collaborate efficiently in a team for effective problem-solving and backup support.
- Work at elevated heights exceeding 3 ft. when necessary.
- Lift weights of up to 50 pounds.
