POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting complex financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks, and providing actionable recommendations to support the company’s strategic and operational goals. This role will perform regular commission and bonus payroll calculations, support corporate finance initiatives, and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes. 

This position will work closely with leadership across multiple departments to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial information, and will leverage advanced data analysis and business intelligence tools to drive decision-making. 

This position requires regular use of discretion and judgment in analyzing data, developing financial models, and recommending strategies that align with organizational objectives. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties and tasks may be assigned): 

  • Conduct business analysis to identify financial trends, opportunities, and risks.  

  • Perform quantitative analysis to evaluate financial performance and recommend improvements.  

  • Perform variable commission and bonus payroll calculations on a bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.  

  • Utilize business intelligence tools to gather and analyze data for decision-making purposes.  

  • Conduct quantitative research to support financial planning and forecasting activities.  

  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cash forecasting processes.  

  • Provide support in corporate finance activities, including new business strategy, pricing initiatives, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).  

  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations.  

  • Interpret complex financial data, including vendor and employment contracts, to inform decision-making.  

  • Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations and organizational policies. 

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. 

  • 1–2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. 

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and business intelligence software (e.g., Corral Data). 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to various audiences. 

  • Multi-entity, multi-state experience preferred. 

  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure. 

  • Strong work ethic, adaptability, and collaborative mindset. 

  • Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies relating to data privacy, confidentiality, and security.

  • Employees must be able to move around their workspace, including walking to and from their workspace, and sitting at a desk and working from a computer for prolonged periods of time as necessary to perform their job duties.

  • Employees may be asked to travel and must have the ability to carry and maneuver their luggage as well as navigate through various transportation modes (car, airplane, bus, train).
