The Payments Product Manager will lead the development and management of innovative financial products, ensuring they meet customer needs, adhere to regulatory requirements, and maintain robust operational integrity. This role will involve managing funds flow, reconciliation processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, while driving product strategy from inception through to launch.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defines and executes the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for fintech products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
- Oversees the design and management of secure and efficient funds flow systems, ensuring smooth transaction processing, fund transfers, and payment settlement across platforms.
- Leads product initiatives around transaction reconciliation, ensuring accuracy in financial records, automated matching of transactions, and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Ensures that all fintech products comply with financial regulations, including KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), GDPR, PSD2, and other relevant laws.
- Works with operations, information services, legal, and compliance teams to implement product features, prioritize product requirements, and ensure operational readiness.
- Continuously gathers insights from customers and stakeholders to enhance user experience, improve product features, and resolve pain points in the funds flow and payment processes.
- Collaborates with information security and risk and compliance teams to identify and mitigate potential risks related to funds flow, fraud detection, and data security.
- Manages the full product lifecycle, from ideation through development, testing, and launch, ensuring products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business objectives.
- Monitors market trends, emerging fintech solutions, and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in funds management and compliance features.
- Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, track performance, and generate reports on financial transactions, reconciliation outcomes, and regulatory compliance status.
