Purpose of Classification:
The purpose of this classification is to assist clients who are seeking information and services through the Energy Assistance Program and to follow agency, local, state and federal regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:

Utilizes administrative skills, technical office skills and knowledge of Agency policy, practices and procedures necessary to provide office support: answers telephones, direct calls to appropriate agency personnel and assist with the client engagement process; handles correspondence and documentation when necessary; organizes and manages correspondence, files and records; provides general information and education assistance as needed; composes and promotes quality in client services excellence.
Operates a variety of automated information processing equipment to prepare applications, reports, purchase orders, budgets, correspondence and other application documentation; coordinates office functions to promote application processing procedures; standards and guidelines; maintains office supplies and stockroom areas; computers, copiers and equipment.
Assists in planning meetings or events; making reservations, acquiring supplies and catering services (if needed), setting up audio/visual equipment and creating seating arrangements for conferences and meetings when necessary.
Attends and participates in meetings, trainings, conferences, seminars and workshops f -or professional development purposes, internal and external client engagement and to establish best practices in improving job knowledge, ability and skill.
