Position: School Field Trip Tour Guide

Position Summary:
The School Field Trip Tour Guide will provide fun and accurate information to participants of various educational tours that Huber’s provides. The Tour Guide will possess excellent customer service skills; maintain a positive attitude toward interacting with children; and have strong public speaking ability.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers in friendly and welcoming manner
- Lead a school group on a guided walking tour of the apple packing production area. Share a scripted story of Huber Orchards and apple farming
- Retain knowledge of our farm, our products and their seasons, especially apples and pumpkins; describe life cycle of featured fruit on the tour
- Direct school tour groups as they enter the farm market, while they are inside the market, and as they leave for the next stop in their tour
- Provide a unique experience for participants to learn about agriculture, local farming, and historical “fun farm facts” about Huber’s
- General knowledge of activities available in the Family Farm Park and where they are located
- Describe rules and regulations for activities available for customers to use (mazes, mining company, mountain slide, pedal carts, etc.)
- Provide a fun and safe experience for customers of all ages
- Follow all company policies/procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Able to work flexible schedule and adjust to seasonal shifts
- Able to push, pull, carry, or lift up to 25 pounds
- Able to walk and stand for up to 6 hours
